ALEXIS L. SIDNEY, EA, MBA, MAFM
Founder and CEO
Alexis L. Sidney has devoted her career to financial management and accounting and taxes as CEO of First Class Accounting and Tax Services. In 2017, she founded Financial Treehouse, Inc, a Georgia non-profit organization committed to educating young youth on financial literacy.
Alexis dedicated 14 years of her career to the United States Department of Homeland Security, in logistics and finance, where she made significant contributions to disaster relief support.
Since starting Financial Treehouse, Alexis has continued to raise awareness about the importance of financial literacy and the need for effective financial education. She speaks and writes regularly on financial literacy for youth, especially the important role of parents and caregivers, and is featured as presenter and host of Financial Treehouse Podcast "Who Says Money Doesn't Grow on Trees".
Alexis is currently a member of the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers, National Association Tax Professionals, the Association of Government Accountants, and Tax Rep Network. She has also served as Treasurer of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. - Atlanta Alumnae Chapter, President of The Order of the Eastern Star - Viola Hart Felton Chapter No. 584, PA and Daisy Troop Leader for Girl Scout Troop #24506.
A native of New Haven, Connecticut, Alexis holds Master's degrees in Business Administration & Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of management. She is an Enrolled Agent for the Internal Revenue Services. Although, she does not consider herself a financial expert, but rather, a staunch advocate for financial education and information. Alexis is a wife, a fur mom, and a mother of three young children. In Alexis' spare time she enjoys arts & crafts, volunteering, and attending church.
